김예지: 네! 승완 씨, 오늘의 표현은 “보고 싶어요”입니다!
Yeji: Seung-wan, today's expression is "보고 싶어요."

유승완: 네! ‘보고 싶다', ‘보고 싶다.' “보고 싶어요”, “보고 싶었어요.” “보고”는 ‘보다'에서 왔어요. 보다.
Seung-wan: Yes! "보고" came from "보다." To see.

김예지: 네, 저는 지금 승완 씨를 보고 있어요. 맞아요?
Yeji: Yes, I'm looking at you, Seung-wan, right?

유승완: 네, 맞아요. 지금 사람들이 저쪽에 많이 있어요. 무엇을 보고 있어요. 그런데 저는 볼 수 없어요. 멀어서 볼 수 없어요. 저도 보고 싶어요!

Seung-wan: And you can also say "보고 싶어요" to a person.

김예지: 맞아요. 저는 친구가 보고 싶어요. 그리고 조카들도 보고 싶어요. 그런데 조금 조심해야 해요. 승완 씨, 제가 승완 씨한테 “승완 씨, 보고 싶어요” 이렇게 말하면 기분이 어때요?
Yeji: Right. I want to see my friend. And I also want to see my nieces and nephews. But you need to be a bit careful. Seung-wan, if I say "승완 씨, 보고 싶어요" to you, then how would you feel?

유승완: 어… 조금 놀랄 것 같아요. “예지 씨, 저를 좋아해요?” 이렇게 말할 것 같아요.
Seung-wan: Oh… I might be a little surprised. I might say "Yeji, do you like me?"

김예지: 네. “보고 싶어요”는 사귀는 사람 그러니까 연인, 커플들이 자주 하는 말이에요.

유승완: 네, 맞아요. 그래서 조심하면 좋아요. 그런데 예지 씨, “그리워요” 이 표현도 있어요. 맞아요?

김예지: 네, 맞아요! “그리워요”도 보고 싶다는 뜻이에요. 그런데 제가 예를 들어, 저희 엄마한테 “엄마, 엄마가 보고 싶어요” 이렇게 말할 수 있어요. 그런데 “엄마, 엄마가 그리워요” 이렇게는 잘 쓰지 않아요. 일상생활에서 그렇게 말하지 않아요.
Yeji: Yes, right! "그리워요" also means you want to see someone. For example, I can tell my mom "엄마, 엄마가 보고 싶어요." But you don't really say "엄마, 엄마가 그리워요." In daily life, you don't say that.

유승완: 네, “엄마, 보고 싶어요” 이렇게 더 많이 말해요.
Seung-wan: Yes, it's more common to say, "엄마, 보고 싶어요."

김예지: 맞아요! 그러면 대화 들어 봐요!
