유승완: 예지 씨.
Seung-wan: Yeji.

김예지: 네!
Yeji: Yes!

유승완: 지난번에 현우 씨랑 수업해서 재밌었어요?
Seung-wan: Did you have fun doing a lesson with Hyunwoo last time?

김예지: 아, 맞아요! 현우 씨랑 수업했어요. 재밌었어요. 좋았어요!
Yeji: Oh, right! I had a lesson with Hyunwoo. It was fun. It was good!

유승완: 정말요?
Seung-wan: Really?

김예지: 네! 진짜 재밌었어요.
Yeji: Yes! It was so much fun.

Seung-wan: Yeji, you're mean.

Yeji: Why?

유승완: 제가 저번 시간에 없었어요. 그런데 그렇게 너무 재미있었어요?
Seung-wan: I wasn't here last time. But you had so much fun?

유승완: 네, “너무해요!” 여러분, “너무", “너무”는 무슨 뜻이에요? 너무!
Seung-wan: Yes, "너무해요!" Guys, what does "너무" mean?

김예지: “너무”는 많이, 정말, 매우, 엄청, 진짜 이런 뜻이에요. 맞아요?
Yeji: "너무" means "too, really, very." Is that right?

유승완: 맞아요! 그러면 ‘너무하다'는 음… ‘많이 하다(?)' 이런 뜻이에요?
Seung-wan: Right! Then does "너무하다" mean… hmm… like "to do something a lot"?

김예지: 아, 그것은 아니에요! ‘너무하다'는 ‘나쁘다', ‘심하다' 이런 뜻이에요. 예를 들어서 승완 씨가 저한테 장난을 했어요. 한 번은 괜찮아요. 그런데 두 번, 세 번, 네 번... 열 번을 했어요. 그러면 제가 승완 씨한테 이렇게 말해요. “승완 씨, 정말 너무해요!”
Yeji: Oh, that is not true! "너무하다" means "to be bad, to be too much." For example, Seung-wan played a joke on me. One time? It's fine. But he did it two times, three times, four times… ten times! Then, I say "승완 씨, 정말 너무해요!" to Seung-wan.

유승완: 네, 예지 씨. 장난 안 할게요. 그리고 또, 제가 음… 사과가 먹고 싶었어요. 그래서 시장에 갔어요. 그런데 사과가 한 개에 만 원이에요. 너무너무 비싸요. 그러면 제가 이렇게 말할 수 있어요. “사과가 한 개에 만 원이에요? 너무하네요. 너무 비싸요.”
Seung-wan: Okay, Yeji. I won't play a joke. And another one… hmm… I wanted to have some apples. So I went to a market. But one apple costs 10,000 won. It's very very expensive. Then I can say "Does one apple cost 10,000 won? It's too much. It's too expensive."

김예지: 네. 그리고 또, 예를 들어서 오늘 파티를 해요. 그래서 케이크를 같이 먹어요. 그리고 제가 잠깐 화장실에 다녀왔어요. 그런데 케이크가 없어요! 사람들이 다 먹었어요. 그래서 너무 슬퍼요. 그러면 제가 “케이크를 다 먹었어요? 너무해요! 저도 케이크를 먹고 싶었어요" 이렇게 말할 수 있어요.
Yeji: Yes. And, for another example, we're having a party today. So, we're eating cake together. And I went to the restroom for a second and came back. But then, the cake was gone! People had it all. So I was really sad. Then, I can say "Did you guys finish the cake? That's mean! I wanted to eat cake, too!"

유승완: 네, 맞아요! 그러면 여러분. 대화를 같이 들어 봐요!
Seung-wan: Yes, right! Then, everyone, let's listen to the dialogue!

Seung-wan: Guys, I don't get late. I always arrive early.

김예지: 네… 맞아요. 사실은 제가 자주 늦습니다. 그렇지만 이제 안 늦을 거예요!
