김예지: 승완 씨, 이번 주말에 뭐 할 거예요?
Yeji: Seung-wan, what are you going to do this weekend?

유승완: 저는 힙합 콘서트에 갈 거예요.
Seung-wan: I'm going to a hip-hop concert.

김예지: 힙합 콘서트요? 오… 의외예요.
Yeji: A hip-hop concert? Wow… that's unexpected.

유승완: 의외예요? 왜요?
Seung-wan: Unexpected? Why?

김예지: 음… 승완 씨는 느린 노래를 좋아할 것 같아요.

유승완: 예지 씨, 그런데 “의외예요”가 무슨 뜻이에요?
Seung-wan: Yeji, by the way, what does "의외예요" mean?

김예지: “의외예요”는 “생각과 완전히 다르다”, “전혀 생각하지 못했다” 이런 뜻이에요.
Yeji: "의외예요" means "to be completely different from one's thought", "to not be expected at all."

유승완: 네. 발음이 조금 어려워요. 같이 따라해 봐요. 의외, 의외, 의외. 의외예요. 의외예요. 의외네요.
Seung-wan: Yes. Its pronunciation is a bit difficult. Let's try saying it together.

김예지: 네, 의외예요. 예를 들어서, 음... 승완 씨는 게임을 좋아해요. 그래서 매일 게임을 해요.

Yeji: And we played a game together at Talk To Me In Korean. So I thought "Seung-wan will win over everyone." But Seung-wan was defeated by everyone. Seung-wan was the worst player. Then, I can say "Seung-wan, this is unexpected. You're bad at games."

유승완: 네, 맞아요. 또, 예지 씨는 옷을 예쁘게 잘 입어요.
Seung-wan: Yes, right. Another one. Yeji dresses well.

김예지: 정말요? 고마워요!
Yeji: Really? Thank you!

유승완: 네? 아, 아니요. 예를 들어서…
Seung-wan: What? Oh, no. I mean for example…

김예지: 아... 네.

김예지: 그래요? 그래서 저는 오후 열시부터 너무 졸려요.
