유승완: 네! 예지 씨, 안녕하세요.
Seung-wan: Yes! Yeji, hi!

김예지: 안녕하세요.
Yeji: Hi!

유승완: 오늘의 표현은 “오랜만이에요”입니다!
Seung-wan: Today's expressions is "오랜만이에요."

김예지: 네, 맞아요. 어, 그런데 이 표현은 제가 여러분들한테 안 쓰고 싶은 표현이에요. 쓰고 싶지 않은 표현이에요.
Yeji: Yes, right. Oh, but this is the expression that I don't want to say to you.

유승완: 왜요?
Seung-wan: Why?

김예지: 왜냐하면 저는 여러분들이랑 매일 보고 싶어요! 계속 보고 싶어요.
Yeji: Because I want to see you every day! I want to keep seeing you.

유승완: 아, 저도 그래요! “오랜만이에요”는 오래 못 본 사람한테 써요. ‘오래'는 긴 시간을 말해요. 긴 시간 못 봤어요. 그리고 만났어요. 그러면 “오랜만이에요” 이렇게 말해요.
Seung-wan: Oh, me too! You use "오랜만이에요" to a person whom you haven't seen for a long time. "오래" refers to a long period of time. You haven't seen a person for a long time and then you met them. Then, you say "오랜만이에요."

김예지: 네, 맞아요! 그리고 “오래간만이에요” 이렇게 말할 수도 있어요. 오래간만이에요. 오래간만이에요.
Yeji: Yes, right! And you can also say "오래간만이에요."

유승완: 오래간만이에요. 그런데 “오랜만이에요”를 “오래간만이에요”보다 더 많이 쓰는 것 같아요.
Seung-wan: "오래간만이에요." But I think people use "오랜만이에요" more often than "오래간만이에요."

김예지: 네, 저도 그렇게 생각해요.
Yeji: Yes, I think so, too.

유승완: 예지 씨, 그럼 “오랜만이에요”는 처음 본 사람한테도 쓸 수 있어요?
Seung-wan: Yeji, then can you use "오랜만이에요" to a person you've met for the first time?

김예지: 아니요. 처음 본 사람한테는 쓸 수 없어요. 그런데 여러분! 우리 처음 본 사람한테 쓰는 표현을 배웠어요. 레슨 8에서 배웠어요. 여러분, 기억나요?
Yeji: No. You can't use (this expression) to a person you've met for the first time. But, everyone! We learned an expression that we use to a person whom we've met for the first time. We learned it in lesson 8. Do you remember, everyone?

유승완: 오! 맞아요. 우리 톡톡 여러분들은 기억할 거예요. 맞아요?
Seung-wan: Oh, right. Talk-Talk's will remember. Right?

김예지: 네! “반가워요!”예요. “반가워요.” “반가워요”는 처음 보는 사람한테도 쓸 수 있어요. 오래 못 본 친구를 만났을 때도 쓸 수 있어요. 맞아요?
Yeji: Yes! That's "반가워요!" As for "반가워요", you can use it to a person that you've met for the first time,too. You can also use it when you meet a friend after a while. Right?

유승완: 네! 맞아요. 그런데 “오랜만이에요”는 처음 본 사람한테는 쓸 수 없어요. 오래 못 본 사람을 만났을 때만 쓸 수 있어요.
Seung-wan: Yes! Right. But you can't use "오랜만이에요" to a person that you've met for the first time. You can only use it when you meet someone that you haven't seen for a long time.

김예지: 그리고 이런 표현도 있어요. ‘오랜만에', ‘오랜만에.’ ‘오랜만에'는 오랜 시간이 지난 다음을 말해요. 시간이 오래 흐른 후를 말해요.
Yeji: And there is another expression, "오랜만에." "오랜만에" means "after a long time has passed." It means "after a long time has gone."

유승완: 네. 예를 들어서, 제가 현우 씨랑 1월에 만났어요. 지금은 12월이에요. 그리고 현우 씨랑 오늘 만났어요. 저는 현우 씨랑 오랜 시간이 지난 다음에 만났어요. 맞아요?
Seung-wan: Yes, for example, I met Hyunwoo in January. And now, it's December. And I met Hyunwoo today. I met Hyunwoo after a long time. Is that right?

김예지: 네, 맞아요. 승완 씨는 현우 씨랑 오랜 시간이 흐른 후에 만났어요.
Yeji: Yes, right. Seung-wan and Hyunwoo met after a long time.

유승완: 그러면 이렇게 말할 수 있어요. “어제 현우 씨랑 오랜만에 만났어요”, “어제 현우 씨랑 오랜만에 만났어요.”
Seung-wan: Then, you can say "Yesterday, I met Hyunwoo for the first time in a while."

김예지: 네! 맞아요. “저는 오늘 오랜만에 초콜릿 케이크를 먹었어요”, “저는 오늘 오랜만에 초콜릿 케이크를 먹었어요.”
Yeji: Yes! right. "Today, I ate chocolate cake for the first time in a while."

유승완: 네. 네? 예지 씨 케이크 매일 먹어요. 오랜만에 먹지 않았어요.
Seung-wan: Yes. What? You eat cake every day. You didn't have it for the first time in a while.

김예지: 네! 여러분, 대화 들어요!
Yeji: Okay! Everyone, let's listen to the dialogue.

Seung-wan: Yeji! Long time no see!

김예지: 우아, 승완 씨! 반가워요. 오랜만이에요. 잘 지냈어요?
Yeji: Wow, Seung-wan! Good to see you. It has been a while. Have you been doing well?

유승완: 저 오랜만에 부산에 갈 거예요.
Seung-wan: I'm going to Busan for the first time in a while.

김예지: 부산이요? 우아!
Yeji: Busan? Wow!

김예지: “오랜만이에요”는 우리가 배운 “반가워요”, “잘 지냈어요?”랑 같이 쓸 수 있어요.
Yeji: "오랜만이에요" can be used together with "반가워요" or "잘 지냈어요?" which we learned before.

유승완: 맞아요. “오랜만이에요! 잘 지냈어요? 반가워요!” 이렇게요.
Seung-wan: Right. "오랜만이에요! 잘 지냈어요? 반가워요!" Like this.

김예지: 네, 맞아요.
Yeji: Yes, right.

유승완: 여러분, 우리는 매일 봐요. 매일!
Seung-wan: Everyone, we hope to see you every day. Every day!
