‘전용’에는 여러 가지 뜻이 있어요.
‘전용' has a lot of meanings.

그런데 여기에서는 이것만을 하기 위해 만들어지고, 사용되는 걸 말해요.
In here, it means that something is designed and used only for a certain purpose.

그래서 버스와 지하철만을 위해 만들어진 카드라는 말이에요.
So it means it’s a card designed to be exclusively used on the bus or subway.

‘대중교통’은 여러 사람이 타고 다니는 버스나 지하철을 말해요.
‘대중교통' refers to the bus or subway which various people take.

‘안심’이라는 단어는 걱정을 버리고 마음을 편하게 가지는 걸 말해요.
‘안심' means to be at ease, shaking off any concerns.

반대말로 ‘걱정’이라는 말이 있어요.
The opposite of it is ‘걱정(worry/concern)’.

‘안심 카드’, 안심 카드는 무슨 뜻일까요?
‘안심 카드', What do you think it means?

이건 새로 만들어진 말인데요.
It’s a newly coined term.

한국에 대중교통을 이용하지 않는 사람들이라면 잘 이해하지 못할 것 같아서 제가 설명을 자세하게 해 드릴게요.
As those who don’t use public transportation in Korea are likely to find it difficult to grasp, I will elaborate it.

한국에서 버스나 지하철을 탈 때, 주로 선불 카드를 자주 사용해요.
When using the bus or subway in Korea, people normally use prepaid cards.

선불 카드는 미리 돈을 넣는 방식을 말해요.
Prepaid cards refer to the type of card you put money onto in advance.

그래서 이런 카드를 잃어버리면 카드에 넣어 놓는 돈까지 다 잃어버리게 되는 거예요.
If you lose the card, you also lose the money on it.

너무 아깝겠죠?
What a bummer, right?
그런데 이 안심 카드는 카드를 잃어버리거나 누가 훔쳐 가서 신고를 하면 남은 돈을 되돌려 받을 수 있다고 해요.

But, in the case of this card, if you lose the card or someone steals it and you report, it is said that you can get the remainder of the money back.

그래서 걱정하지 말고 마음 편하게 가지고 다니라는 뜻으로 ‘안심 카드’라고 이름이 붙여졌다고 해요.
So it was named ‘안심 카드' to reassure people that they can carry the card without concerns (of losing it).

‘출시’는 상품이 나왔다는 말이에요.
‘출시' means that a product has been launched.

버스나 지하철만을 위한 카드가 나왔다는 말이죠.
So it means a card was launched that is only usable on the bus or subway.

“대중교통 전용 안심 카드 출시 분실 시 환불”
“Safe public transportation-only card was released. You can get a refund if it’s lost.”

‘분실’이라는 말은 물건을 잃어버린 것을 말해요.
‘분실’ means to lose something.

‘분실 시’라고 말을 했을 때는 분실했을 때, 물건을 잃어버렸을 때를 말해요.
‘분실 시' means ‘when you have lost something’.

‘환불’은 이미 낸 돈을 되돌려 받는 걸 말해요.
‘환불' means to get back the money you have already paid.

카드를 잃어버리면 낸 돈을 다시 되돌려 준대요.
It says you will get back the money if your card is lost.

“카드 가격 1,000원” 카드가 1,000원이라는 말이죠.
“The price of the card is 1,000 won.” It means the card costs 1,000 won.

‘발매’는 파는 걸 말해요.
‘발매' means to sell something.

‘자동 발매기’라는 것은 카드를 파는 기계를 말하고요.
‘자동 발매기' refers to the machine that sells cards.

‘판매’도 상품을 파는 걸 말해요.
‘판매' also means to sell some products.

그런데 ‘발매’와 ‘판매’는 이렇게 사전에서 찾아보면 뜻이 같은데요.
Though the dictionary definition of ‘발매’ and ‘판매' are the same,

그런데 ‘발매’는 주로 책이나 음반이 처음 나왔을 때 쓰여요.
‘발매' is mainly used when a book or a record is released.

또는 이렇게 표를 팔 때도 쓰이고요.
It is also used when you sell tickets.
