‘상행위’의 ‘상’은 장사를 말해요.
‘상' in ‘상행위' means business.

그리고 ‘행위’는 사람이 하는 행동을 말하고요.
And ‘행위' means activities or actions conducted by humans.

그래서 상행위는 물건을 사고파는 걸 말하게 돼요.
So 상행위 means to buy or sell products.

공원에서는 물건을 사고팔면 안 된다는 말이죠.
It means you must not buy or sell products in the park.

“텐트·그늘막 설치 금지 및 취사 행위 금지”
“No tents and shade sails are allowed. No cooking.”

그늘막은 그늘이 생기게 천막을 치는 물건을 말을 해요.
그늘막 refers to an object that creates a shade.

텐트처럼 생겼지만 사방이 다 뚫려 있어요.
It looks like a tent but all four directions are open.

설치는 텐트나 그늘막을 이렇게 세우는 것을 말을 해요.
설치 means to set up a tent or a shade sail.

취사는 밥을 짓거나 음식을 만드는 걸 말해요.
취사 means to cook rice or any other food.

한국에서는 공원이나 산 같은 곳에서 모두 취사를 금지합니다.
In Korea, cooking is prohibited in places like the park or mountain.

“애완동물 목줄 착용 및 배변 봉투 지참”
“All pets must be on a leash. Make sure to bring the waste bag.”

‘애완동물’의 ‘애’는 사랑이라는 뜻이에요.
‘애’ as in ‘애완동물' means love.

애완동물은 내가 좋아하면서 귀여워하면서 집에서 키우는 모든 동물을 말을 해요.
애완동물 means all kinds of animals you raise at home with love and affection.

그런데 애완동물이 목줄을 착용해야 한대요.
It says all pets must be on a leash.

착용은 옷을 입거나 신발을 신거나 모자를 쓰는 거, 그런 거 모두를 말을 하는데요.
착용 refers to activities like putting on clothes, putting on shoes or a hat.

여기서는 "목줄을 꼭 해야 된다."라는 뜻이에요.
Here, it means your pets must be on a leash.

한국에서는 개에게 목줄을 하지 않고 산책을 다니면 벌금을 내야 해요.
In Korea, if you walk your dog without a leash, you have to pay a fine.

배변 봉투는 개들이 길거리에서 똥을 싸면 담을 수 있는 봉투를 말해요.
A waste bag refers to a bag in which you can put the waste of dogs in case they poop on the street.

지참이라는 단어는 가지고 와야 한다는 뜻인데요.
The word ‘지참' means that you should bring something.

공원에서 개들이 길거리에서 똥을 싸면 담을 수 있는 봉투를 꼭 가지고 와야 한다는 뜻이에요.
In case dogs poop on the street or in a park, you should bring a bag in which you can put it.

“쓰레기 무단 투기 금지”
“No littering.”

‘무단’은 허락 없이, 아무 이야기 없이 하는 행동을 말을 하는 거예요.
무단 means to do something without permission or notification.

그래서 무단 투기라고 말을 하면 허락 없이, 담을 수 있는 봉투를 꼭 가지고 와야 한다는 뜻이에요.
So if you say ‘무단 투기', it means to litter or throw away things without saying anything (in advance).

공원에서 쓰레기를 아무 데나 막 버리면 안 되겠죠?
You must not litter in a park, right?

“음주·소란 및 고성방가 금지”
“No alcohol, no fussing, no shouting”

‘음주’는 술을 마시는 걸 말해요.
음주 means to drink alcohol.

그리고 ‘소란’은 시끄럽게 떠드는 걸 말해요.
And 소란 means to make loud noise.

‘음주·소란 및’이라고 되어 있잖아요.
It says ‘음주·소란 및’, right?

이 ‘및’이라는 단어는 ‘그리고’라는 뜻을 가지고 있어요.
The word ‘및’ means ‘and’.

‘고성방가’는 (대체로) 술에 취해서 거리에서 크게 소리를 지르거나 노래를 부르는 걸 말해요.
고성방가 means to shout or sing loudly in the street, (usually) under the influence of alcohol.

“오토바이 및 차량 진입 금지”
“Cars and motorcycles prohibited.”

‘차량’은 도로를 달리는 차를 말해요.
차량 means vehicles that run on the road

예문을 한번 들어 볼게요.
Let me take an example.

“차량이 갑자기 늘어나면서 교통사고가 많이 났다.”
“As the number of cars went up, the number of car accidents increased.”

‘진입 금지’의 ‘진’은 한자어로 ‘앞으로’라는 뜻이고요.
진 as in 진입 금지 is a sino-korean letter, meaning ‘forward’.

그리고 ‘입’은 ‘들어가다’라는 뜻이에요.
And 입 means to enter.

그래서 ‘진입 금지’라고 말을 하면 들어가면 안 된다는 뜻이에요.
So if you say ‘진입 금지', it means you must not enter.

‘차량 진입 금지’라는 말은 차가 공원으로 들어가면 안 된다는 말이죠.
차량 진입 금지 means all motor vehicles must not enter the park.
