Lesson 1
Welcome to the first lesson in the course, Learn to Read and Write in Korean. This is a course where you will learn to understand and write Hangeul, the written characters used in the Korean language.
In this lesson, you will learn 6 basic Korean vowels, as well as a very useful “place-holder” consonant that you will need to use along with your vowels. Even if you are an absolute beginner and haven’t learned any Korean before, you will be already able to read some simple Korean syllables at the end of this lesson. Here are the 7 characters you will learn in this lesson.
ㅡ
ㅗ
ㅜ
ㅣ

They might just look like some random lines now, but they will look very familiar after completing this lesson, so let’s get started!
