= 이거, 아니, 이거 주세요. -
What? What do you mean?
= 네? 그게 무슨 말이에요? - I know what you mean.
= 무슨 말인지 알겠어요. -
I’m not sure what you mean.
= 무슨 말인지 잘 모르겠어요. -
(There’s another reason/purpose, too, but) I came outside to
get some fresh air.
= 바람 좀 쐴 겸 밖에 나왔어요. -
(I’m doing it because it’s fun, too, but) I’m reading a
novel written in English to study English as well.
= 영어 공부도 할 겸, 영어로 된 소설을 읽고 있어요. - That must hurt.
= 아프겠어요. - I think this will be good.
= 이게 좋겠어요. - (I think) You’ll be late.
= 늦겠어요. -
I’m a little busy now, so…
= 제가 지금 좀 바쁘거든요. -
I met Hyojin earlier. But she said something strange.
= 아까 효진 씨 만났거든요. 그런데 이상한 말을 했어요. -
I’m not busy tomorrow. (Because) I finished all the work
today.
= 내일은 안 바빠요. 오늘 일을 다 끝냈거든요. -
I will (either) go home or meet a friend.
= 집에 가거나 친구를 만날 거예요. -
Are you going to go home? Or are you going to meet a
friend?
= 집에 갈 거예요? 아니면 친구를 만날 거예요? -
Are you going to buy this? Or are you going to buy something
else?
= 이거 살 거예요? 아니면 다른 거 살 거예요? -
This place has changed a lot.
= 여기 많이 달라졌어요. -
I feel like something has changed.
= 뭔가 달라진 것 같아요. -
My cellphone has disappeared.
= 제 핸드폰이 없어졌어요.
